diasporatic no. 2: joy abundance prayer of Cleveland native, 8x10” limited edition giclee print on paper or canvas
Playing! Imaging if an archeologist found my art hundreds of years from now. How would they describe my work and symbols? Why does the word “native” always seem like it’s still describing an other? Maybe because I’m born here but I don’t feel at home. When I think of home, it’s a safe place where the markers don’t get moved and the rules don’t change to disempower me. Hmph.
Also had a Madonna song stuck in my head, but my brain keeps saying “I’m gonna dress you up in mylar.” I don’t know about that.
This listing is for a limited edition print of the original painting. You may choose a print giclee print on fine art paper or on canvas and ready to hang. Each print will be numbered and signed.
